Labour’s anti-immigration mug

UPDATE: You can now BUY the Green Party’s pro-immigrant mug – a response to Labour’s reactionary merchandise – here on the official party shop.

Get yours and stand up to right-wing rhetoric!

Labour faced the wrath of the Twittersphere yesterday after they launched some new merchandise – chief among them an anti-immigration mug.

The party immediately faced calls for them to pull the product – but appeared to resist. It was after all one of their top five election pledges.

But one Green Party member – the meme team’s Thom Pizzey – designed an epic graphic retort to Labour xenophobia – a Green mug with ‘Standing Up for Migrants’ instead.

Pizzey, from Ashford Green Party, just won.

Bright Green is pleased to be the first to put it out there.
