The general election campaign is in full swing and opinion polls are coming in thick and fast. One of the latest is from the polling firm Ipsos, and it suggests the Green Party is having a good campaign.

The poll puts the Greens on 9%, in joint third place with Reform UK. The Lib Dems were trailing in fifth place on 8%.

According to Ipsos’ findings, Labour currently have a 20 point lead over the Tories, with Keir Starmer’s party having the support of 43% of the public.

While the news will be welcomed by Greens, these numbers aren’t reflected by other pollsters. Most polls are generally showing the Greens on between 5-7%.
