As far-right rhetoric grows louder across Europe and marginalised communities face growing threats, we are stepping up to ensure our party remains a safe, inclusive space for all. We are Rosa Al-Baldawi and Luanne Thornton, standing together as job-share candidates for Equality and Diversity Coordinator, bringing a shared commitment to justice and a unique blend of international and grassroots experience to the role.

Over the past year, Rosa has served as International Officer for the Young Greens, building meaningful connections with movements across Europe. She has helped shape anti-racism and decolonisation work through the Federation of Young European Greens—from hosting workshops in Croatia to standing in solidarity with Palestinians, her work has always centred on justice that transcends borders.

Luanne brings years of experience in inclusion-focused organising, both within the party and beyond. As a former Co-Chair of the Young Greens, she supported liberation groups and worked to cultivate more diverse leadership. Professionally, she is a Disability Advisor and Sexual Violence Liaison Officer, and leads an LGBTIQA+ staff network—advocating every day for accessibility, safer spaces, and meaningful inclusion.

What sets our campaign apart is its practical focus. We’re not just interested in statements—we want to embed justice into the party’s internal systems. That means investing in underrepresented members, expanding accessibility, and building support for mental health, neurodiversity, and trans inclusion.

Our vision is one of intersectional justice and sustainable change. We want to ensure that the Green Party’s commitments to anti-racism, disability justice, queer liberation, and international solidarity are not just words, but values that shape everyday decisions, structures, and culture.

With the far right gaining ground and progressive spaces under pressure, we believe the Green Party must lead by example—not only through our policies, but in how we treat each other. We’re standing together to listen, to learn, and to act. Because justice starts at home—and we’re ready to help build it.
