London’s anarchist bookshop, Freedom Press, has announced on its website that it was firebombed at around 5:30am yesterday. The below statement is from their website. If you’re in London and can make it down, do go over, show some solidarity, and help out with today’s cleanup. If you can’t do that, then what better place to order books?

The bookshop was founded 150 years ago by Charlotte and Peter Kropotkin and has been in Whitechapel since the 1970s.

We’re still assessing the damage, so watch this space for further news.

Here are some more photos of the damage.
