Caroline Lucas, the Green Party’s sole MP, has announced she won’t be re-standing at the next general election. As a result, the Greens are in the process of selecting a new candidate. Three people have put their names forward – and Bright Green is planning to interview them all.

Siân Berry is one of them. She’s a former co-leader of the Green Party and is currently a member of the London Assembly and a councillor in Camden.

Our editor Chris Jarvis spoke to Siân about why she’s standing, her political priorities and why she thinks she’s the right person to replace Caroline Lucas.
