More than 85,000 people have signed a petition calling for Elon Musk to ‘butt out’ of British politics. It follows various public comments that Musk has made about a number of developments in British politics in recent months, as well as reports that he may seek to make considerable donations to Reform UK.

Hosted by 38 Degrees, the petition calls for Musk to “butt out and keep your tweets – and your billions – out of our politics”. It goes on to say “2e don’t want you inciting anger, hate, or violence against individuals or groups.”

The petition concludes by saying “You don’t speak for us. You never will.”
