Over 30,000 people sign petition calling for Amazon to stop selling Tommy Robinson’s book
More than 30,000 people have signed a petition calling for Amazon to stop selling Tommy Robinson’s book. The petition accuses Amazon of ‘platforming and profiting from the latest book of Britain’s best known far-right activist’.
Robinson’s book – Manifesto: Free speech, real democracy, peaceful disobedience – was published in October 2024.
The full text of the petition reads: “Amazon is currently platforming AND profiting from the latest book of Britain’s best known far-right activist, Tommy Robinson.
“Not only are Amazon making money from his hatred and giving his controversial views credibility, but they are also helping to funnel thousands of pounds into his pockets and risk the spread of far-right radicalisation further.
“Amazon should not be using its huge platform to fund hate. That’s why we’re calling on Amazon to stop profiting from Robinson’s latest book.”
The petition is hosted by 38 Degrees.
